In addition to protein determination and quantification in solution, the QuantiPro(TM) BCA Assay Kit has other applications, including determination of protein covalently bound to agarose supports and protein adsorbed to multiwell plates. It has also been applied to the determination of functional groups such as sulfhydryl, N-hydroxysuccinimido carboxylate, aldehyde and hydrazide on a variety of solid supports.
